'Memorable Experience'

Fig Garden neighbors provided me recently with two lovely experiences. The first was when I walked Christmas Tree Lane. I joined a very large crowd strolling the lane on a mild evening with a slight drizzle. It was an exceptionally memorable experience because the rain-slicked pavement danced with myriad reflections from colorful Christmas tree lights lining Van Ness.

Not all of my family took that memorable stroll. My second experience was shared with them the next evening, as we joined a bumper-to-bumper bevy of vehicles gazing at the wonderful Christmas decorations along the same route.

It struck me then, that despite considerable personal expense and traffic inconveniences, Fig Garden neighbors have continued, year after year, to share their marvelous vision of Christmas.
